Let your kids explore and grow this summer vacation:

*Summer vacations around the corner. Parents make them busy searching for suitable camp for the kids. Almost 2 months break... Art, theatre,Football,basketball,robotics, dance, nature walk,cooking,painting...poured with options... Interested parents include the following also in the list: 1. My kid this time learns to wash her plate. A 12 yr girl last time shocked me when I asked her to put the plate in the sink by saying ' oh sorry aunt. I did not know this is my duty. My house, either maid or ma takes it..' 2. My kid , every morning learns to fold her bedsheets and and arrange the pillow and bed. 3. During this 2 months period, my kid learns to eat what I cook instead of what she likes to eat. 4. My kid , gathers her friends, going for evening walk, introduce themselves to neighbors. 5. My kid, along with her friends make lemonade after their outdoor play. 6. She has 2 cousins at hometown. When she is going to visit them, she is taking only one set of toys, not 3 s

We do not mind carrying a sour bowling arm or a niggling injury for the next few weeks; for, the joy derived from the game is far superior to the transitory pain! A certain camaraderie is generated amongst the players that gets carried beyond the playing arena too.   This brings us to the question: how to infuse this spirit in our schools. Efforts are on to prepare champion sportspersons at the grassroots level to enable us to grow as a sporting nation at the international level through programs such as Khelo India.
