‘Best’ or prescribed way of facilitating or mentoring the child:

It is about how we can interact with a child or a group of children in so many different ways so that we value add to the child, we enrich his or her life and our's too. Please note the idea here is not to find a better way of facilitating, rather explore and learn multiple ways of interacting, so that we can at any moment, decide which one to use. So when we would look into each master's work, we are going to see what alternatives are being offered, and collect them as more options in our journey with children.  The BEST way to Facilitate is the WORST way to Facilitate! A lot of teachers and parents come and ask us what is the best way to deal with xyz situation with a child, the best way to facilitate. Some talk about the ‘Aarohi' way of responding to children - indicating that there is ‘right’ or ‘best’ way of facilitating – that we (at aarohi) use, which is eluding them. Some teachers and parents even feel bad if they dealt with a child in a way contrar

Wisdom cries out to be noticed. Our tragedy is that we are too busy fooling ourselves:

*Life is a classroom. The teachers are not only adult humans — they include nature, experiences and children. The other differences between the classroom of life and regular classroom is that in the classroom of life you never graduate out of it and the tests often comes before the lessons. But the tests need not come before the lessons. We can easily learn from other’s hard lessons. And my observation is that, it is not that life does not give us easy lessons, but that we hardly take notice of the easy lessons. If you will look carefully, you will realize that there are lessons all around us. There are no new lessons. There are only old lessons happening to new people or people who forget. Those who forget the lessons of life will become life lessons for others. Wisdom cries out to be noticed. Our tragedy is that we are too busy fooling ourselves. The only qualification to learn in life’s classroom is readiness. And your readiness is proved by your willingness and humility. When you

Bruner's work on learning and education:

- In his research on the cognitive development of children,  Jerome Bruner proposed three modes of representation: Enactive representation (action-based) Iconic representation (image-based) Symbolic representation (language-based) -  The role of the teacher should not be to teach information by rote learning, but instead to facilitate the learning process.  - Bruner's  work also suggests that a learner even of a very young age is capable of learning any material so long as the instruction is organized appropriately. - According to Bruner, Language is important for the increased ability to deal with abstract concepts. Brief understanding of 3 steps of learning by Bruner's theory: a. Enactive representation: Thinking is based entirely on  physical actions , and infants learn by doing, rather than by internal representation (or thinking). b. Iconic representation: Information is stored as  sensory images  (icons), usually visual ones, like pictures in the mind

we can get anything we desire in our life by just shifting our own Paradigms:

What exactly are Paradigms? A Paradigm is a mental conditioning. From the time we are conceived, we are being conditioned. How you ask? By the feelings of your Mother firstly. This is why we say Keep a Pregnant woman very happy so her child will also turn out happy :) Once you are born upto age 5 or 7yrs, you are being conditioned as you have a subconscious mind wide open or you can say you are learning by observing the people around you who are meant to be your Role Models. You start absorbing the Energy of everyone raising you, your parents, grand parents, aunts, uncles etc....For example if you are a little boy, If men in your family are always angry, you already learnt that men are supposed to be angry. You simply absorbed that Energy daily for almost 7 years! At a later date in Life, those seeds will bear their fruits by the Law of Attraction! In the same way, you learn the language or languages you speak. Your likes and dislikes, Your mannerisms, your logic, your use of ti

Education system in Greece and Rome in ancient times: (In Urdu)-

The current need of experts to work in the field of ECE, to better understand Child and Childhood:

There is been a clear need for polished skills and expertise in many professions. There are many professions which were the sub-fields, but as per 21st century needs they have grown up to be an independent field on its own. One such field is ECE- Early Childhood Education. Currently this field has contributed a lot towards the understanding of child and it's growth and development. These professionals usually work as preschool teachers, mentors, curriculum designers, program managers etc. The usual age group of children at ECE environment is 0 - 8 years. As this age group is looked after by female predominantly from ages, today as a result this field has more female working than male. It is very important that even male contribute to this field, by doing a graduation in ECE, research, facilitation, program design, advocacy etc. In a tedx video shared below, a male ECE professional who has studied ECE and working in ECE is sharing his experience in the field of ECE and it'
