- In the previous update we had informed you about the ban of online teaching in Karnataka, which was extended till 7 th Standard. A public interest litigation is filed by Anumitha Sharma and several others, challenging the ban on online classes from LKG to 5 th Standard in the state (As reported by The Indian Express on 22 nd June 2020) . The Karnataka High Court on Monday asked the state government to find a solution to the situation. A division bench of Justice has issued this direction after hearing the PIL. Previously the state had informed that the expert committee will frame guidelines for online engagement of children. In another statement, the state has said that the decision is taken based on the safety of health of the children.
