HIGHLIGHTS OF NEW NATIONAL EDUCATION POLICY, NEP 2020  FOR SCHOOL EDUCATION: 1. REGIONAL LANGUAGE MEDIUM SCHOOLS WILL GET BOOST as according to New Policy the mother tongue or local or regional language is to be the medium of instruction in all schools up to Class 5 (preferably till Class 8 and beyond).  2. It speaks about present needs and gives a holistic approach towards education. Keeping the emerging technology aspect in mind, the NEP talks about creativity and skill development in the students from the early stages. The thrusts are on practical learning and the evaluation pattern is kept both subjective and objective from the school level. This will help students to score marks as per their original ability, rather than being habitual of theoretical parrot-learning or copy-pasting to score marks in board exams only as in the present system. I have been talking for past few years that the exam pattern in our school education system has been not adequate to produce creative minds, rather it promotes parroting like a xerox machine, thus it needed to be changed. -ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ 1-3 ತರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ 6-9 ವರ್ಷದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಿಷನ್ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ಇದರಿಂದ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮೂಲ ಸಾಕ್ಷರತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಖ್ಯಾಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಶಾಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟ 5 + 3 + 3 + 4 ಅನ್ನು ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, 3-6 ವರ್ಷ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಮಗು ಒಂದೇ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡಲಿದೆ. ವಿಷಯದ ಪರಿಚಯವನ್ನು 6-8ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ಭೌತಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಫ್ಯಾಷನ್ ಅಧ್ಯಯನಕ್ಕೂ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು. 6 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯಿಂದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕೋಡಿಂಗ್ ಕಲಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಂಶೋಧನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಲು ಬಯಸುವವರಿಗೆ 4 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಪದವಿಯಿರಲಿದೆ. ಉದ್ಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಲು ಬಯಸುವವರು ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷದ ಪದವಿ ಮುಗಿಸಬೇಕು. ಆದರೆ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಲು ಬಯಸುವವರು ನಾಲ್ಕು ವರ್ಷದ ಪದವಿ ಮುಗಿದ ನಂತ್ರ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದ ಎಂ.ಎ.ಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪಿಎಚ್‌ಡಿ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು. ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಎಂ.ಫಿಲ್ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಮಲ್ಟಿಪಲ್ ಎಂಟ್ರಿ ಥ್ರೂ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಆಫ್ ಕ್ರೆಡಿಟ್ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯ ಮೊದಲ, ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ವರ್ಷದ ಸಾಲಗಳನ್ನು ಡಿಜಿಲಾಕರ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕು.ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಕೆಲವು ಕಾರಣಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ವಿರಾಮವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಾಗಿ ಬಂದರೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಗದಿತ ಸಮಯದೊಳಗೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿದರೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಮೊದಲ ಮತ್ತು ಎರಡನೆಯ ವರ್ಷವನ್ನು ಪುನರಾವರ್ತಿಸುವ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆಯಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಕ್ರೆಡಿಟ್ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯ ಕ್ರೆಡಿಟ...

NEW NATIONAL EDUCATION POLICY OF INDIA... New Education Policy 2020 is announced: 1. 10+2 board structure is   dropped 2. New school structure will be 5+3+3+4 3. Upto 5 pre school, 6 to 8 Mid School, 8 to 11 High School , 12 onwards Graduation 4. Any Degree will be 4 years 5. 6th std onwards vocational courses available 6. From 8th to 11 students can choose subjects  7. All graduation course will have major and minor Example - science student can have Physics as Major and Music as minor also. Any combination he can choose 8. All higher education will be governed by only one authority.  9. UGC AICTE will be merged. 10. All University government, private, Open, Deemed, Vocational etc will have same grading and other rules. 11.
