- Parents' attitude and behaviour towards education shape a child's own perspective. Involved parents are more likely to ensure their children attend school regularly. When parents are involved, children are more likely to feel connected to their school and their learning.

1. Parents must adopt a more proactive approach to their children's education and upbringing than ever before.
2. At home, parents should facilitate meaningful engagement with children in quest (journey) for learning.
3. The parents should develop a collaborative and open communication environment at home.
4. Parents should be informed about teachers' ongoing instructions and assigned homework/activities.
5. Parents should attend all the meetings, orientation and events organised at school.
6. Parents should have full awareness of their children's educational activities at home and school.
7. Parents should show consistent interest and care towards children’s academic learning and non-academic activities like sports, and other productive activities.
8. The father and the mother both should be familiar with how their children learn and comprehend (understand) classroom teaching and lessons. The parents should encourage focused reading and writing both at school and at home.
9. The involvement with child’s learning should be balanced one. Because over-involvement or unnecessary interference can be counterproductive, potentially leading to stress for children, parents as well as teachers.
10. Ensure that at home the learning and also the playing environment is comfortable for children, particularly make sure that the home environment is conducive to learning.
As schools prioritise the effective performance of its teachers within the school environment, it must also actively support and encourage parents' educational involvement in their homes.
