Why it’s important for parents to give time to their teenage children:

-

Parents and children share unconditional care and support with each other. This is a natural god-created relationship. Parents and children both have expectations from each other, in terms of communication, discipline, care and helping hand.

A teenager is a growing child which is the age category between 13 to 18 years. Adolescence is usually associated with the teenage years.

It is important to remember that teenagers are just like you and me. They want to know what they want, they want to know what they are doing, and they want to be able to take decisions on their own terms. They are not an exception to the rule; there is no reason why they should not have the same rights as you or me. But there might be a few things in which children should take approval from parents, otherwise they might take an unsafe decision.

Parents should not be stressed out during parenting:

It is important that parents give their children the time and attention they need. Research has shown that parents who are more stressed out about their children’s well-being are more likely to be dissatisfied with their children’s behavior, and less likely to be able to provide them with the attention they need. It is therefore crucial that parents give their children the adequate time and attention they need.

The stress of parents can have a negative impact on a child’s wellbeing. When you are stressed out, you are likely to feel more anxious and depressed. This can have a negative impact on your child’s wellbeing.

How can you help your child?

One of the ways in which parents can help their kids is by giving them a sense of belonging. By giving them a sense of belonging, it helps them feel like they belong, and can help them feel like they have a purpose in life.

Another way in which parents can help their kids is by providing them with opportunities for growth and development, in terms of sports, academics, religious studies, etc.

Importance of giving time:

The importance of giving time to your teenage children is well-known. In fact, it is one of the most important factors that parents should consider when deciding whether or not to send their child to school. It does mean that children do not complete their education, but these parents prefer home-school, whereby they both all the time stay together at home learning and exploring.

There are many reasons why it is important for parents to give time to their children.

-         First and foremost, it shows that they care about them and are committed to their success.

-         Secondly, it shows that they are willing to work hard at getting the best out of themselves.

-  And finally, it shows that they are willing to work hard at being able to achieve their goals.

Parents are the ones who are able to see that their child is pursuing a career in science, technology or commerce. Parents are the ones who can help children make good choices in life. That’s why it’s so important for parents to give time to their young children. It shows children that they can do things on their own, and it shows children that they can make good decisions when it comes to life.

Parents could even take them on trips where you can see how far you have come together as a family over time. This could also give them opportunities to meet new people and interact with people from different cultures and religions so that they can learn more about themselves and each other.

The parent should know what is happening in their child’s life, by having frequent talks during various occasions at home, kitchen work, outings, shopping, etc. There are factors that can impact your children’s personal life and academics, factors such as poor diet, lack of sleep, bad company at school and neighborhood, and too much TV and mobile. These all can have a negative impact on the well-being of children.

Children are different in many aspects:

Parents are often the most important role models for their children. Children watch us at everything, the way we eat, the way we react, the way we take decisions, etc. It is also important for parents to realize that teenage children are different from other children in several ways.

-         First and foremost, they have a different set of skills and abilities than other age groups children. For example, teenage children have more critical abilities than other children. They also have a higher ability to learn new things, which can help them in school more than other children do.

-         Second, teenage children have a different set of interests than other children do. For example, teenage kids like self-reading more than other kids do. They also like playing formal sports more than other kids do.

It’s also important for parents to show their children that they are capable of making good choices because this is what will help them grow into successful adults. There are many other ways that parents can show their children that they are capable of making good choices in life.

So when your child seems stressed out about something, it could be because they are worried about their health, personal life, or academics or they are worried about them being unhappy at home. Whatever the reason, it's important to listen to your child when they are stressed out and take steps to alleviate the situation. And make a happy home and happy community.

Happy parenting.

Discipline rooted in connection builds emotional safety and also encourages internal motivation:

 - *“Discipline isn’t about control. It’s about connection.”* _This powerful statement shifts the traditional perspective of discipline from authority-based control to relationship-based guidance. True discipline is not about instilling fear or asserting dominance, it’s about helping someone grow by building trust, understanding, and connection._ 🧠 What It Means: • Control-based discipline says: “Do what I say, or face punishment.” • Connection-based discipline says: “I understand what you’re going through. Let’s learn from this together.” The goal is not to force obedience but to nurture self-discipline, empathy, and responsibility. 🌱 *_Example 1: A School Principal & a Misbehaving Student*_ • Control Approach: The principal suspends the student without asking why he was misbehaving. • Connection Approach: The principal calls the student in, sits beside him, and says, “You’re usually respectful. Education system in Greece and Rome in ancient times: (In Urdu)-

Why Forcing a 4-Year-Old child to Write Homework Is a Losing Battle:

 - For many parents, the moment a child brings home their first “homework” is a source of pride. It feels like a sign of maturity and academic progress. But what if that pride is misplaced? What if the struggle to get a four-year-old to sit still and write is actually damaging their relationship with learning? It's time to challenge the outdated notion that early homework is beneficial and embrace the powerful, evidence-based alternative: play. Forcing a four-year-old to do homework, especially writing, is developmentally inappropriate and counterproductive. At this age, a child's brain and body are not yet ready for the fine motor skills required to hold a pencil correctly and form letters. The act can be physically frustrating, leading to a poor grip and a lifelong aversion to writing. More importantly, it can cause emotional distress. When a child is pushed to do a task they are not equipped for, it can lead to anxiety, meltdowns, and a feeling of inadequacy. We are inadvert...
