Don’t preach, even if it seems to be called for…
Make what you’re teaching fun and interesting…
Never be mean to a kid, or, an adult student, you have no idea what their life outside the classroom is like, even if they are from a rich family…
Try to do some of the teaching outside the classroom to shake things up…
Don't be closed minded about anything…
Give other sides of every theory, if there are any.
Teaching is as much about listening as constantly blathering…
Some students will nod their head, saying they understand, and they probably truly think they have it, but if you listen, you will realize that they don’t have a clue yet…
You can’t logically give a test, if you’ve failed to actually deliver the material in an understandable fashion…
And whether you like it or not, believe it or not… Watch the moon phases, kids learn better on certain moon phases than others…
