LSRW is the sequence of language learning. I.e.
Listening
Speaking
Reading
Writing
In language learning, writing is the last skill. But in today's schools, so much stress is put on little children to write.
Before writing, children should be taught to listen, speak and read (In writing, pre-writing skills starts first).
Once children start listening, speaking and reading, they will be able to communicate well.
Writing on paper is one of the least multisensory experiences for the child.
As part of writing, most of the schools just do meaningless and mechanical copying.
We need to agree that readiness varies from child to child.
