‘My school, My pride’- It’s time to pay back:

If I am using the pen to write this piece of the campaign, there are teachers behind me.

If I am thinking to draft this campaign, there are teachers behind me.

If I am able to express my thoughts to you, there are teachers behind me.

If I am able to explore the design of this campaign, there are classrooms which taught me to explore.

As in cricket, in life too everybody has their turn to showcase their strengths and abilities.

Now it’s your turn.

If you have studied in school, do you have passion and courage to support the school in this difficult times?

Are you ready?

Even a phone call to your teacher might make a difference.

Are you ready?

Pandemic has effected every aspect of life.

Many schools are on the boundary of closure.

Schools are into financial trouble- Even not able to pay the salaries to teachers, and not able to pay rents of the buildings.

Not able to withstand- Few schools are on thoughts of closing down their academics and shift their profession.

Few teachers are forced to leave their noble profession and do odd jobs after losing their jobs.

Teachers have committed their every second of breath to this noble profession.

But they are forced to quit.

Are you ready?

Why do the schools need your support?

The future of school children is the only concern.

The school management does not want to take a drastic decision that may cause huge damage to children, parents as well as the school itself.

Why parents are avoiding the fee payment?

There are parents whose businesses are closed, jobs are lost, and simply they are finding themselves on the islands of troubles. ‘Financial constraint all around’.

Parents are shy to share their financial constraints, they just not admitting their children to school.

It means it’s a one-year academic loss to our nation’s little citizens.

33 lakh students are in budgeted schools in Telangana alone- As reported by YTN, and Telangana state alone there are 10,984 recognized budged schools.

5 lakhs staff- this is the number reported by YTN, Teleangana state alone has 5 lakhs teaching and non-teaching staff in budgeted schools alone.

30 to 40 percent of the staff have already left their jobs due to the non-payment of salaries.

It is forecasted that this situation is just the tip of an iceberg.

The poor family students will be forced to get into labour if the present situation continues to prevail.
