Over 2 lakh parents within 24 hours: No Vaccine, No Schools- Online petition against re-opening schools:
-Government’s decision on reopening schools across the country in consultations with different stakeholders and states have brought a big debate agenda to different stakeholders that have made parents full of confusion about whether to send their kids to the schools or not.
As a result most of the parents who are internet accessed have raised their voices of not to re-open the schools and have opposed sending their kids to the school back as long as a preventive vaccine for COVID19 disease is not developed.
The parent associations have initiated the online petition platform with some key arguments as follows. One online petition is going on at change.org.
- The parent association have termed the Government decision of reopening the schools as forcing their kids into fire play and dumping the children into the challenging lives.
- Instead, parents have opted for online classes though it has got enormous technological issues as because they are more concerned about the health of their kids.
- Virtual Learning is one of the most aspired options of parents for the rest of the academic session during this pandemic based on the evidence that the number of private schools has claimed that they are doing good in the same domain. The virtual learning is a software-based learning platform as same as normal online classes.
- The parents argued that all educational institutions were closed down before the Lockdown 1.0 was not even declared nationwide and where even the outbreak of the infections was less in number, but now it seems worst, so what is the point of reopening the schools.
